- Ghosts and the Paranormal -Retired teacher
David J. Pitkin has sought answers to mysteries throughout
his life, an activity spurred by a bout with cancer in 1973.
Fascinated by the workings of the unconscious mind and on
the growing evidence for consciousness surviving body death,
he has written five books of researched ghost stories. He
studied dream analysis with Dr. Montague Ullman, pioneer dream
researcher at Maimonides Hospital. Pitkin believes that dreams
of the deceased are often genuine "contact experiences."
David lectures widely on parapsychology themes, including
ghost stories and near-death experiences. His first collection
of New England ghost stories is found in Ghosts of the Northeast

published in 2005, and has become another local best seller.

Volume 2 in October, 2008, both of which have become regional
best sellers. More people than one would suspect are interested
in their life's ending and want it to be a happy one. Pitkin

documents released by Wikileaks discloses that the US military
routinely turned a blind eye to torture and abuse committed
by its Iraqi allies against suspect insurgents. US apache
helicopters killed insurgents who were trying to surrender,
according to the logs. An American military legal adviser
told helicopter crew that Iraqi men were valid targets as
they could not surrender to aircraft, the documents show.
The Apache helicopter killed the two insurgents after being
told that they were still legitimate targets even although
they were offering to lay down their arms. More than 15,000
previously unrecorded deaths were contained in the files,
according to one analysis of the figures. US military logs
revealed 109,032 deaths between January 2004 and December
last year. Iraq Body Count, the London-based organisation
which monitors civilian deaths, concluded that 15,000 unrecorded
civilian deaths will be added to the public record. This is
just the beginning.

National UFO Reporting Center - Peter Davenport has
been director of the National UFO Reporting Center since 1994.
Peter reports UFO sighting cases regularly on the Jeff Rense
Radio Show and presents lectures on specific UFO cases, most
notably the Phoenix Lights sighting. In addition to being
the director of the National UFO Reporting Center, Peter has
served as the director of investigations for the Washington
Chapter of the Mutual UFO Network. Peter has had an active
interest in the UFO phenomenon from his early boyhood. He
experienced his first UFO sighting over the St. Louis municipal
airport in the summer of 1954, and he investigated his first
UFO case during the summer of 1965 in Exeter, New Hampshire.
