The Faithful -Jonathan Weyer is the author
of the upcoming novel, The Faithful, due to be released in

by his agent, Wes Yoder. Jonathan was born in 1974 in Huntingburg,
Indiana. He spent two weeks every summer with his grandma
who allowed him to check out stories about Bigfoot, the Mothman
and ghost stories from the library. This summer reading gave
him a lifelong love for scary stories. Jonathan's family moved
to St. Louis, Missouri when he was in the sixth grade. After
college, he went to Covenant seminary and graduated with a
Masters of Divinity with honors. He is currently ordained
in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. While pastoring two
churches, one in Illinois and one in Florida, he began to
write a fantasy book based on American mythology. After a
move to Columbus, Ohio, Jonathan felt a call to campus ministry
at The Ohio State University. During the transition from church
ministry to campus ministry, he decided to write his second
novel, The Faithful, which combined his knowledge of the church

Supreme Court Upholds Mandatory Employment Eligibility Checks
- The United States Supreme Court voted today to
uphold a controversial Arizona law that punishes employers
who knowingly hire illegal immigrants. In a 5-3 vote split
on ideological lines, the decision maintains an Arizona
requirement for businesses to use a federal verification
system to check job candidates' immigration status. The
law in question is separate fron the more recent and deeply
controversial Arizona law championed by current Governor
Jan Brewer which requires police to ask anyone they stop
about their immigration status if they have a "reasonable
suspicion" they are in the country illegally. That
law has been been put on hold while legal challenges work
their way through the courts. Brewer is lobbying to skip
the Ninth Circuit Court and bring the case before the Supreme
Court. A loss there would be a tremendous blow to immigrants
rights groups, who so far have garnered the support of everyone
from the Phoenix Suns to Shakira in opposing the law. In
today's case, Chief Justice Roberts' 27-page opinion for
the court's conservative majority states "that the
Arizona regulation does not otherwise conflict with federal
law" as argued by parties' opposing the law. The liberal
justices--Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Stephen
Breyer--represented the interests of a coalition of organizations
that included the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, civil and workers
rights groups as well as the Obama administration. Those
opposing the Arizona law argue that the federal Immigration
Reform and Control Act of 1986 forbids states from enacting
any laws that prevent businesses from hiring illegal immigrants.
In his dissenting opinion Justice Breyer wrote that the
law will impose "burdens on lawful employment"
and further could result in "unlawful discrimination."
The law upheld, the Legal Arizona Workers Act was originally

Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Defense (Army).
- Mr. DePasquale grew up in South Brooklyn N.Y during
the 40's, 50's and 60's with a mother who was always on welfare
and a step father who wanted nothing to do with him, as a
result he developed street smarts and survival skills which
later helped in his career. During the peak of the Viet-Nam
war Mr. DePasquale attempted to dodge the draft by having
a local Godfather sign him up for the local Army Reserves,
this only pro-longed to inevitable and his Reserve unit was
later activated to active duty and he wound up in the Central
Highlands of Viet-Nam. Upon Mr. DePasquale's return to the
U.S; and being greatly discouraged by the war, he moved himself
and family to Australia where he met David Hackworth, an Army
retiree who was portrayed in the movie Apocalypse Now with
Marlon Brando and another American named Jay who he later
helped smuggle $250,000.00 out of the country. Mr. DePasquale
had to later flee the country with his son after the loss
of his money and business, leaving his wife behind. Mr. DePasquale
re-entered the Army and was re-assigned to Germany, because
of his past experience he was on the fast track for promotions
averaging an increase in pay grade every year. Being burned
out from working the German streets as a undercover drug dealer,
he and three friends from Brooklyn planned to rob a Army payroll
truck. Having failed at the robbery and not getting caught
turned out to be a major turning point his life, he was later
recruited by the Criminal Investigation Division (CID), an
elite group working directly for the Secretary of Defense
Dick Chaney. He continued on the fast track for promotions
and after his promotion to Chief Warrant Officer, was designated
for Special Operations and temporarily assigned to Panama
where he assisted the CIA with the capture of Manuel Noreiga.
During his Special Operations assignment he met a Captain
who was also involved with Noreiga but smuggling drugs for
him using U.S. planes. Mr. DePasquale later retired In 1998
from the Military after a mass murder of kids and their Father
on the installation he was assigned as Special Agent in Charge
and which could have been avoided if it were not for politics.
After retirement he purchased a 47' sail boat and sailed along
the west coast trying to forget some his past, while in San
Diego was notified by his wife she wanted a divorce. Mr. DePasquale
now lives in Florida where he continues to look for adventures.

a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University

near the Oakland, Calif., airport, Camping said his prediction
that the Rapture would occur Saturday might have been wrong,
but he stands by his prophecy that the world will come to
an end as forecast on Oct. 21. In a rambling discourse to
reporters outside his Family Radio International office,
Camping, an 89-year-old retired civil engineer, indicated
he had misread the signs in predicting that the faithful
would be lifted up to Heaven Saturday, leaving sinners to
suffer through five months of disasters until the Earth
was consumed in a fireball on the End of Days. God did "bring
judgment on the world," on Saturday, he said, but there
will not be any terrible buildup to the end. When it comes,
it will happen quickly, he said. "We have to be looking
at all of this a little bit more spiritual, but it won't
be spiritual on Oct. 21," he said. "Because the
Bible clearly teaches that then the world is going to be
destroyed altogether." His radio station will no longer
preach about the end of the world, he said, because God's
judgment has already come. On Sunday, after the Rapture
failed to occur Saturday as he had predicted, Camping was
"mystified" and "a little bewildered,"
an associate of the California preacher told ABC News. Tom
Evans, a board member of Family Radio International, said
Sunday that Camping's wife told him her husband was at their
home and had no intention to speak or issue any statement
for at least two days. However, the evangelist did speak
on Monday, saying he had been disappointed by the apparent
failure of his prophecy, so he and his wife had gone to
a hotel room so that he could sort out what had happened

Depleted Uranium - According to a August 2002 report
by the UN subcommission, laws which are breached by the use
of DU shells include: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights;
the Charter of the United Nations; the Genocide Convention;
the Convention Against Torture; the four Geneva Conventions
of 1949; the Conventional Weapons Convention of 1980; and
the Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907, which expressly forbid
employing 'poison or poisoned weapons' and 'arms, projectiles
or materials calculated to cause unnecessary suffering'. All
of these laws are designed to spare civilians from unwarranted
suffering in armed conflicts. DU has been blamed for the effects
of Gulf war syndrome -- typified by chronic muscle and joint
pain, fatigue and memory loss -- among 200,000 US soldiers
after the 1991 conflict. It is also cited as the most likely
cause of the 'increased number of birth deformities and cancer
in Iraq' following the first Gulf war. 'Cancer appears to
have increased between seven and 10 times and deformities
between four and six times,' according to the UN subcommission.
The Pentagon has admitted that 320 metric tons of DU were
left on the battlefield after the first Gulf war, although
Russian military experts say 1000 metric tons is a more accurate
figure. In 1991, the Allies fired 944,000 DU rounds or some
2700 tons of DU tipped bombs. A UK Atomic Energy Authority
report said that some 500,000 people would die before the
end of this century, due to radioactive debris left in the
desert. The use of DU has also led to birth defects in the
children of Allied veterans and is believed to be the cause
of the 'worrying number of anophthalmos cases -- babies born
without eyes' in Iraq. Only one in 50 million births should
be anophthalmic, yet one Baghdad hospital had eight cases
in just two years. Seven of the fathers had been exposed to
American DU anti-tank rounds in 1991. There have also been
cases of Iraqi babies born without the crowns of their skulls,
a deformity also linked to DU shelling.

- Vatican Claims That Aliens Do Not Clash With Church Doctrine
- Believing that the universe may contain alien life
does not contradict a faith in God, the Vatican's chief astronomer
said in an interview published Tuesday. The Rev. Jose Gabriel
Funes, the Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory, was
quoted as saying the vastness of the universe means it is
possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth,
even intelligent ones. "How can we rule out that life
may have developed elsewhere?" Funes said. "Just
as we consider earthly creatures as 'a brother,' and 'sister,'
why should we not talk about an 'extraterrestrial brother'?
It would still be part of creation." In the interview
by the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, Funes said
that such a notion "doesn't contradict our faith"
because aliens would still be God's creatures. Ruling out
the existence of aliens would be like "putting limits"
on God's creative freedom, he said. The interview, headlined
"The extraterrestrial is my brother," covered a
variety of topics including the relationship between the Roman
Catholic Church and science, and the theological implications
of the existence of alien life. Funes said science, especially
astronomy, does not contradict religion, touching on a theme
of Pope Benedict XVI, who has made exploring the relationship
between faith and reason a key aspect of his papacy. The Bible
"is not a science book," Funes said, adding that
he believes the Big Bang theory is the most "reasonable"
explanation for the creation of the universe. The theory says
the universe began billions of years ago in the explosion
of a single, super-dense point that contained all matter.
But he said he continues to believe that "God is the
creator of the universe and that we are not the result of
chance." Funes urged the church and the scientific community
to leave behind divisions caused by Galileo's persecution
400 years ago, saying the incident has "caused wounds."
In 1633 the astronomer was tried as a heretic and forced to
recant his theory that the Earth revolved around the sun.
Church teaching at the time placed Earth at the center of
the universe. "The church has somehow recognized its
mistakes," he said. "Maybe it could have done it
better, but now it's time to heal those wounds and this can
be done through calm dialogue and collaboration." Pope
John Paul declared in 1992 that the ruling against Galileo
was an error resulting from "tragic mutual incomprehension."
The Vatican Observatory has been at the forefront of efforts
to bridge the gap between religion and science. Its scientist-clerics
have generated top-notch research and its meteorite collection
is considered one of the world's best. The observatory, founded
by Pope Leo XIII in 1891, is based in Castel Gandolfo, a lakeside
town in the hills outside Rome where the pope has a summer
residence. It also conducts research at an observatory at
the University of Arizona, in Tucson.

His professional positions include Staff Scientist at the
Lockheed Martin Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory; Deputy
Director of the Center for Extreme Ultraviolet Astrophysics
at the University of California, Berkeley; and Visiting Scientist
at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Extraterrestrische Physik
in Garching, Germany. He was also Editor-in-Chief of the Journal
of Scientific Exploration. Prior to his career in astrophysics,
Haisch attended the Latin School of Indianapolis and the St.
Meinrad Seminary as a student for the Catholic priesthood.
The God Theory is his first solo book. He is married, with
three children, and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with

percent Hindu; 0.3 percent Other World Religions, 2.4 percent
agnostic ... and only 1.6 percent atheist. Imagine that -

Why May 21st? According to Camping and followers, it is the
17th day of the 2nd month using the Hebrew calendar, which
is a Biblically significant date. Camping is backed up by
eBible Fellowship teacher Chris McCann and McCann's followers.
Camping is no stranger to doomsday predictions: in 1992, the
Christian author published a book titled 1994?, claiming that
the rapture would occur on September 6, 1994. Since that day
seventeen years ago came and went without incident, most do
not hold stock in Camping's claims. Many are creating spoof
websites, and atheist groups in the U.S. are holding "rapture
parties" as a way to ridicule Camping's May 21st prediction.

- Has Bigfoot Really Been Found? - In 1956 and while
serving as a 2nd Class Petty Officer aboard the aircraft carrier
USS Princeton, Robert W. Morgan had an encounter with what
is now commonly termed a Sasquatch or Bigfoot. While hunting
in the mountains of Mason County, Washington, he responded
to the sounds of rustling in the brush uphill and behind him.
There he spotted patches of blackish hair moving away quickly
through the brush. Naturally, he assumed it was a bear. However,
when it paused in a small opening, he found himself facing
a large bipedal hominoid. This entity stood erect the entire
time expressing surprise, indignation and curiosity - but
not anger. Morgan himself felt amazed yet not threatened.
After several moments of exchanging stares, Morgan chose to
leave the area. As a young man from a steel town in Ohio,
he had not yet heard of the Sasquatch or the Bigfoot. His
attempt to report to local law enforcement his encounter with
"an escaped gorilla" was not taken seriously. Worse,
when he tried to share his story with his shipmates they also
assumed he was joking. He angrily vowed to return to that
area to repeat his encounter. It was those intelligent eyes

- The World of UFOs - Veteran UFO researcher Robert
VanDerClock has confirmed that he has met with and seen the
credentials of an anonymous source who disclosed that a secret
UN meeting had taken place on February 12 that discussed UFOs
and extraterrestrial life. In a February 13 article first
announcing the secret UN meeting, the anonymous source disclosed
that the meeting was called in response to national governments
concerns about increases in global UFO sightings. In a later
article, the anonymous source, henceforth referred to as "Source
A", disclosed a time table existed for full disclosure
of extraterrestrial life by 2017. In a phone interview conducted
with me on March 25, VanDerClock confirmed that he had met
with Source A approximately one year earlier. At the time,
Source A was accompanied by the same two New York researchers,
Clay and Shawn Pickering, who were responsible for the initial
release of information concerning the February 12 meeting.
At their meeting one year ago, VanDerClock personally reviewed
the military credentials of Source A that were, in VanDerClock's
opinion, "impeccable". Source A showed Vanderclock
an album of his military service in classified facilities.
This helps confirm some of the claims of Source A of having
worked in classified facilities where he was exposed to projects
involving extraterrestrial technology and life. Source A possessed,
for example, a classified document he obtained in 1982 that
detailed retrieval operations for crashed extraterrestrial
vehicles that was another version of the famed Special Operations
Manual that publicly emerged in 1994.

Bay -Montgomery J. Granger is a three-time
mobilized U.S. Army Reserve Major (Ret.), who was called into
his Reserve Center in Uniondale (Long Island), New York, on
9/11, in response to the attacks on the World Trade Center's
Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and Flight 93, which crashed at
Shanksville, Pennsylvania. He answered his country's call
to duty next in January 2002 for a mission to help run the
military detention facility at the U.S. Naval Station at Guantanamo
Bay, Cuba. He was called up again just six months after returning
from duty at Gitmo, but this time remained stateside at the
U.S. Army Reserve Training Center at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
After nearly six months at Fort Dix, MAJ Granger returned
to civilian life for about a year when he was involuntarily
transferred to another Reserve Army unit that was deploying
to Iraq in the fall of 2004. Major Granger served 14 months
of active duty on his third deployment and served in Baghdad,
Abu Ghraib, Camp Bucca, and Ashraf, Iraq, as Medical Service
officer for military detention facility operations. He is
married and is the father of five children, and lives on Long
Island, New York. He is also the author of "Theodore,"
a personal narrative published in the 2006 Random House wartime
anthology "Operation Homecoming: Iraq, Afghanistan and
the Home Front in the Words of U.S. Troops and Their Families,"
where he wrote about his fear and anxiety over having left
his family in 2002, and especially two-day-old Theodore, and
what reaction there was upon his return. Operation Homecoming
was sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts,
and edited by Andrew Carroll, editor of the New York Times
bestselling book, War Letters. Granger was born in Illinois,
raised and schooled in Rubidoux, California, and attended
undergraduate school at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa
where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
He earned a master's degree in curriculum and teaching from
Teachers College-Columbia University, where he met his wife.
He also attended the State University of New York at Stony

Tom attended Philadelphia public schools where he was competitive

Al Qaeda considered attacking the U.S. rail sector
on the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, U.S.
government officials said on Thursday in describing intelligence
from Osama bin Laden's hide-out in Pakistan. They said some
evidence was found indicating the al Qaeda leader or his associates
had engaged in discussions or planning for a possible attack
on a train inside the United States on September 11, 2011.
"We have no information of any imminent terrorist threat
to the U.S. rail sector, but wanted to make our partners aware
of the alleged plotting," spokesman Matthew Chandler
said of an intelligence message the Department of Homeland
Security sent on Thursday. The department and other U.S. agencies
have been reviewing the treasure trove of information from
bin Laden's compound in Pakistan seized by the United States
during the raid this week that killed the al Qaeda leader.
An initial review of the information by U.S. intelligence
analysts indicates that bin Laden, while in Abbottabad, played
a direct role for years in plotting terror attacks, and was
not just an inspirational figure to al Qaeda, The New York

The official word is that on September 11, 2001, 19 Saudi

giant airliners and deliberately flew to their deaths. That
same Osama bin Laden was shot to death by American commandos.
PLAN B: September 12, 2001, Osama bin Laden took credit for
the deaths and destruction. Whatever his connection to the
planes crashing into the buildings, that same Osama bin Laden
has been killed by American operatives. PLAN C: The buildings
that fell on September 11, 2001, were terribly damaged by
airliners crashing thru them, spattering tens of thousands
of gallons of blazing jet fuel (kerosene) into their interiors,
which burned for a while. However, the buildings fell when
hundreds of pre-placed, high-explosive, sequentially-fired,
contact-charges were detonated at key structural points. One
building that fell was neither on fire nor had been hit by
an airplane. Osama bin Laden was glad when he heard of the
death and damage. PLAN D: The last any American saw Osama
bin Laden was years before the aircraft thing. He was dying
of kidney failure in an American hospital in the Middle East.
He was an "asset" of the CIA. He would not have
figured at all in the "9/11" attack. PLAN E: The
American commando team certainly killed someone, and no doubt
someone important to the enemy, but we don't know who. Now
that the official government version is that Osama bin Laden
was among the dead, all the lips will be locked and all the
documents will be classified and we will never know. PLANS
F & G: The supposed killing of the supposed architect
of the mass murders on September 11, 2001, will be used both
to justify continuing and terminating the present wars against
Iraq and Afghanistan. This may also be used both to justify

a member of the American Society of Muslims. He was the first
Muslim to give the invocation to the Kansas House of Representatives
and Senate on March 9, 1995. Hazim served on the board of
directors for Interfaith of Topeka Inc. for seven years. He
has also been associated with Interfaith for more than 20
years. Hazim wrote an article that appeared in the Muslim
Journal, which is an international publication on Jan. 20,
1995, entitled, Contributions of Islam to a Pluralistic Socity.
Over the years, he has written many articles for the Topeka
Capital-Journal. His articles focused on Islam and current
issues affecting the world. To increase understanding and
awareness, Hazim has addressed issues on death, sickness,
suffering, social justice, the status of women in Islam, Jihad,
human and civil rights, and the Islamic view on life after
death, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, The Menninger Foundation,
St. Francis Hospital, Washburn University, various churches,
schools, civic clubs, etc., in Topeka since 1975. Imam Hazim
was married to Aliya Hazim from August 9th 1963 to September
13th 2010 the day she returned to Allah. May Allah accept

in the West. As relieved Americans finally went to sleep late
Sunday after learning of the death of Osama Bin Laden, much
of the world was just waking up Monday morning to the news.
Reactions varied, but for many of them, the relief was measured.
From Western leaders to Arab citizens, they acknowledged that
while Mr. Bin Laden's death is a symbolic victory, it does
not signal an end to the threat of terrorism in the West.
"Osama bin Laden was responsible for the deaths of thousands
of innocent people.... The forces of peace were successful
last night. International terror has not been defeated. We'll
all have to remain vigilant," said a spokesman speaking
on behalf of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to
Reuters. In the Arab world, too, there was a widespread feeling
that this was a milestone, but not an end, as the Guardian
reported from Cairo and other major cities in the region.
Reaction in Cairo was initially muted, with local media outlets
and early morning commuters reluctant to talk about the significance
of the news before the body of the terrorist leader was displayed.
