at the border. Arizona has been in the national news for their
immigration law that was passed in the state that allows for
law enforcement to stop anyone who they suspect of being illegal
and do a background check. The President did not say exactly
when the troops would be deployed but he did say that the troops
would stay there until the US Border Patrol could hire more
agents and the time to train them. Arizona Senator John McCain
has stated that he believes that the President is not serious
about the border patrol issue. He was the one that pushed the
troop buildup. ‘I don’t think he is serious about
this. We need at least 3,000 troops to be able to properly secure
our borders. 1,200 is just a gesture. We need to be serious
about this’ said Sheriff Larry Dever of Cochise County.

detention facility operations. He is married and is the father

also the author of "Theodore," a personal narrative
published in the 2006 Random House wartime anthology "Operation
Homecoming: Iraq, Afghanistan and the Home Front in the Words
of U.S. Troops and Their Families," where he wrote about
his fear and anxiety over having left his family in 2002, and
especially two-day-old Theodore, and what reaction there was

Letters. Granger was born in Illinois, raised and schooled in
Rubidoux, California, and attended undergraduate school at the

- Criminologist - Bomb Plot Suspect Arrested
Trying To Catch Flight To Dubai - A U.S. citizen has
been arrested in the Times Square bombing probe, U.S. Attorney
General Eric Holder announced early Tuesday. Faisal Shahzad,
30, was arrested at JFK airport in New York late Monday as he
prepared to board a flight to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Holder
said. However, a law enforcement source with knowledge of the
investigation said Shahzad had already boarded the Dubai-bound
flight before being arrested and was being questioned overnight.
"It is clear the intent behind this terrorist act was to
kill Americans," Holder said. "We will not rest until
we bring everyone responsible to justice." Shahzad will
appear in Manhattan federal court Tuesday to face formal charges,
the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New
York said. Law enforcement officials said the suspect is the
person who bought the Nissan Pathfinder used in the bombing

to Stephen Hawking's speculations about hostile extraterrestrials.
Widely previewed in the popular media, Hawking's pessimistic
ruminations are part of an upcoming Discovery Channel television
series. "With these views, Hawking demonstrates that he's
not only physically handicapped but mentally handicapped by
the degenerative disease of 'evolutionism' or 'Darwinism,' "
Rael said. "His fears about murderous, invading aliens
are based on the theory of evolution - the myth of evolution,
to be more precise. He's afraid humans are inferior to aliens
who might invade. That's logical, but only if you accept the
myth of evolution." Rael called evolution "a magical,
irrational concept" that does great harm. "Hitler's
views about superior Aryans; slavery and apartheid; and Hawking's
delirium of aliens wiping out humanity all fit perfectly with
the evolution myth," he said, adding that he admires the
stance taken by Swedish scientist Soren Lovtrup. "Lovtrup
said Darwinian evolution will one day be considered the greatest
deceit in the history of science and that it's anti-science
and false," he said. "I agree." And the truth
about the origin of life on Earth? "It's the result of
intelligent design, not by just one so-called godly designer
but by extraterrestrial designers, plural, called the Elohim,"
Rael said. "With intelligent design, you automatically
have intelligent organization of the universe as well, organization
based on peace and love, not on monsters ready to invade and
destroy humanity." Why? "Intelligent designers wouldn't
allow anyone to destroy their creation," Rael said. "What's
more, with cosmic laws based on intelligent design, violent
species wind up self-destructing before they can spread their
violence to other planets." Is this a lesson for humanity?
"We can use weapons of mass destruction to eliminate ourselves,"
Rael explained. "We don't need alien invasions for that;
we're powerful enough and stupid enough to do it ourselves unless
peace and love prevail. Stephen Hawking is doing a terrible
thing by instilling fear. Fear leads to poor health, bad behaviors
and the militaristic policy of weapons accumulation that can
lead to humanity's self-destruction. The world needs peace,
love and global disarmament, not fear. And we must eliminate
the myth of God and the myth of evolution, since both of these
