ANN DRUFFEL - UFO Research & Author - UFO researcher and author Ann Druffel dates her interest in the UFO question from 1945 when, as a schoolgirl, she viewed a bright yellowish object, very high in clear blue skies over Long Beach, California. She and her mother, Aileen Walsh McElroy, watched the object as it slowly traveled westerly. After about an hour and one-half, having traveled about 30 degrees from the NNE to the NNW, it then released 15-20 smaller shiny objects, which took varying paths out and away from the main object. Years later, it was determined that this sighting occurred at about the same time the first experimental atom bomb was exploded in New Mexico.Interested in earth mysteries of all kinds, Druffel has researched various aspects of the UFO question and investigated reports of all kinds since 1957. She was one of the first investigators for NICAP, remaining with that organization from April 1957 to 1973. During the NICAP years she became acquainted with the renowned atmospheric physicist, Dr. James E. McDonald, and participated with him in several UFO cases during his six years of UFO research. After NICAP was destroyed by subversive agents from the FBI and CIA who had secretly penetrated into the higher realms of NICAP, Druffel joined the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) with which she is still actively associated as investigator, frequent contributor to their journals and other official capacities. She also joined the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) and contributes articles on California sightings and other UFO subjects to IUR (International UFO Reporter). She was a U. S. consultant and regular contributor for the British research journal FLYING SAUCER REVIEW (FSR) through 2004.

DON LEDGER - Swissair Flight 111 - Airliners are one of the most complex, technologically driven, pieces of equipment in the world. They are used to facilitate the movement of hundreds of millions of people around the world every year. By the year 2000 they had exceeded one billion in the number of passengers they had carried-nearly one sixth of the world's population. By the early nineties the computer had taken hold of the sophisticated airliner's navigational, auto-piloting and systems monitoring and welfare control. The time was ripe then for the one thing that computers are vulnerable to -voltage fluctuations; either by electrical overloading or loss thereof. This is what happened to Flight 111. It all started with a short in a wire bundle, likely feeding the aircraft's passenger entertainment system situated a few feet behind the copilot. It ended when 229 people died in the cold waters of the North Atlantic four miles out from the lighthouse at pretty a little tourist attraction called Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia.

DEBORAH LIPP - The Study of Witchcraft - Deborah Lipp is the author of five books: The Study of Witchcraft, Elements of Ritual, The Way of Four, The Way of Four Spellbook and The Ultimate James Bond Fan Book. One of these things is not like the other. Deborah became a Gardnerian Witch in 1982 and a High Priestess in 1986, and has been teaching Wicca and running Pagan circles ever since. She’s been published in many Pagan publications, including newWitch, The Llewellyn Magical Almanac, Pangaia, Green Egg, and The Druid's Progress, as well as Mothering Magazine. She is also a lifetime member of Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF) and was on the original Board of Directors of that organization. She has lectured at numerous Pagan festivals on a variety of topics. As an active "out of the closet" member of the Pagan community, Deborah has appeared in various media discussing Wicca, most notably on the A&E documentary Ancient Mysteries: Witchcraft in America. She has also appeared on MSNBC, in The New York Times, and in many smaller TV and print sources. In "real life" Deborah is a technical writer. She lives in Rockland County, New York, with her son, Arthur, and their cats Mingo and Fanty (Fanty is prettier). Deborah reads and teaches Tarot, designs wire-and-bead jewelry, solves and designs puzzles, watches old movies, hand-paints furniture, and dabbles in numerous handcrafts.

PETER DAVENPORT - National UFO Reporting Center - Peter Davenport has been director of the National UFO Reporting Center since 1994. Additionally he has served as the director of investigations for the Washington Chapter of the Mutual UFO Network. Peter has had an active interest in the UFO phenomenon from his early boyhood. He experienced his first UFO sighting over the St. Louis municipal airport in the summer of 1954, and he investigated his first UFO case during the summer of 1965 in Exeter, New Hampshire. Peter has been witness to several anomalous events, possibly UFO related, including a dramatic sighting over Baja California in February 1990, and several nighttime sightings over Washington State during 1992. His graduate education was completed at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he earned an M.S. degree in the genetics and biochemistry of fish from the College of Fisheries, as well as an M.B.A. degree in finance and international business from the Graduate School of Business. Peter was the founding president of a Seattle-based biotechnology company, which currently employs over 300 scientists and technicians. TRACY TWYMAN - Alternative History - Tracy Twyman has been writing about alternative history and the occult for 14 years. She is the author of several nonfiction books and is also the former Editor of Dagobert's Revenge Magazine, a journal of esoteric history that was published from 1996 to 2003. In 2006 her website made national news when it was banned by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on charges of blasphemy. Recently she was featured in the documentary film Bloodline, released in May 2008. Her book The Merovingian Mythos was licensed by Sony Pictures for use in the upcoming film Angels and Demons, prequel to The Da Vinci Code.
